Staff of C.H. Johnson Consulting worked with a private developer bidding to build a mixed use development, including a convention center in Marina City, Singapore. This land was being led by economic development officials, with two desires:
New World Development and the architectural firm of McKown retained our staff to assess what should be built, comment on design as it proceeded, project revenue and expenses for the convention center operations, and prepare an economic as fiscal impact analysis for use in their tender response to the Singapore government.
New World, also the owner of the Hong Kong Convention Center, prevailed in its bid and subsequently built the Convention Center very closely to that submitted to the Singapore government.
